How do couples text each other 24/7?

I have been seeing this guy and he expects me to text him all the time 24/7. I am a very busy person who has a million things going on at the sane time and am under pressure a lot. My to do list is as long as my own leg. Since this guy has began texting me. I have been unable to find time to reply back to my friends texts. I am struggling to get work done because he's always expecting a reply back. I just feel like I dont know who couples text ALL DAY 24/7. Its like a full time job replying to texts. I have 3 fucking people to reply to right now. Along with a million other things I have to do tonight. Im just completely overwhelmed.

I have no idea why people text when it is so much easier just to talk, which is what phones were invented for in the first place. Myself and several of my friends have messaging disabled, so people have to actually talk to us in a civilized way. This texting generation is one small step away from sending smoke signals to each other. They really are that clueless.

Does he not have a job? Tell him that you need to work? I think this is not good, especially if he doesn’t have a job and he expect you to not have a job either. And him not having a job is already bad by itself. He is very controlling if he expects you to reply quickly. I recommend braking up with him because controlling jealous men can’t be changed.
