We all know of pretty privilege, but is there a handsome privilege equivalent?

I think the answer is YES… Attractive men are treated differently as far as getting better and faster service. Speaking form restaurants more prompt service, more comped drinks, appetizers, desserts, etc. Getting free scalp massages and shampooing from the haircut/barbershop. More attention from flight attendants. Female cops tend to give you warnings when you should get a ticket/even go to jail such as going over 90 on the highest.

Good looking guys not only have an advantage, but it's a pretty big advantage. I think it starts shaping them at a young age and actually changes the kind of person they are. That change can be negative since a lot of good looking guys are too aware that they are good looking. But they have an advantage regardless of that.

They have an advantage in pretty much any social setting. Getting jobs, social interactions, service, and a huge advantage with women of course.

It depends o the situation, but attractive men do not get out of legal trouble for being attractive, it is actually the opposite. Attractive men are often the target of false accusations by jealous women that aren't good enough to get them so they try to sabotage the man's life, especially in the workplace.

Personally I’m someone who treats everyone the same and it doesn’t matter how attractive you are, I don’t see people with a lens of attractiveness and I treat everyone with kindness I believe everyone deserves it especially those who are less privileged. But when I was a server I can definitely say that men are a little more intimidating sometimes especially when they behave or speak a certain way. I’m not sure how to explain it.

Yeah it happens. I get drinks comped. Meals comped. Seats reserved without asking.

Height and looks plus nice clothes will have people extrapolating that to intelligence, status, inherent “goodness”, etc. People will defer to me in conversations. Call me sir.

It always makes me chuckle. people make assumptions without even knowing me based only on appearance.

The phenomenon is pretty well documented for both men and women.

No, Lmao.. You just get a bit more attention from women, and gay men if one really likes you they might do a favor for it, but otherwise not really.. Women like good looking men and they'll oogle but that doesn't mean that they want you.. Looks aren't really what women care about most..

But I will say: handsome privilege always comes with handsome expectations.

Good looking men are expected to be successful in school, in sports, at their job, with women, and so on

If a handsome guy complains about something being hard he will usually get dismissed.

Especially from those closer to him like family or friends

Yeah, I've seen it happen plenty of times working at a few bars. The female bartenders will always get drinks for the guys they are attracted to the most first. Most women will be flattered and not object to a guy hitting on them who they find extremely attractive. If a fat sloppy guy tries the same thing, she will call for the bouncer haha

Sometimes I think it works AGAINST us, because we're the antithesis of the scary ugly black beast many whites digest as the truth about us. It is the same for men and women. That is why the main movie stars are always handsome. The difference is that women also place a high value on a man's money, income, and position. Men are attracted to women's beauty, not their money.

No. lol. Men’s looks are a very small percentage of what goes into attraction for women, whereas they are a significant percentage of what goes into it for men. Women can get by in life on looks alone ( at least when they are young), men absolutely can’t do the same.

😄 I've been told I'm a good height, many women eyeball me, when I do look their way after sensing it, and having put it off, after a delay, I look and they look away or pretend it off like they were admiring lights or ceiling tiles. 😅👌👀 I also get free things or discounts sometimes at random places because women seem to think I'm the bee's knees (I'm apparently good looking, and I carry myself without a swagger that says I know that I know, that I'm a catch) 🐠🐟
