5'4 and 5'5 is average for women. and I feel the same for men since I am 5'3, 5'4 and 5'5 is average but 5'7 is tall for men (tall for me but 5'7 also might be average for men become 6ft is tall for most people not 5'7(but for me 6ft is too tall). 5'6 is average for men but for women it's either average or tall or both depends who you asking, just like 5'4 can be between average and short.
