Men generally don't care for independent women. We just want a ride or die. Someone we know is loyal and would sleep under a bridge with us. Someone who has absolute faith in our character. That and someone who brings us peace and is compatible personality-wise. We are romantic. We would date a girl who works at McDonald's if she brought the qualities I mentioned to the table.
