I met him for the first time. what should I do now?

So basically i have been in an online relationship and now that i have met him. I don't understand what i feel. He's a nice guy but his looks weren't appealing to me. Meeting him first time I didn't even look at him properly once his full face. Only saw few parts eyes, forehead. But still i don't feel attracted to him. Was it because i was anxious and it was the first time we met? Or is it is just online attachment. Because i can't seem to break up with him.

Online dating basically means you had a fantasy and created a story of the man in your mind, and perceived it as something magical, but that magic was lost after meeting him, almost as if you broke the spell of the illusion, you have grown an attachment since you have been chatting online creating this bond but because you din't meet him in person your mind could only create an imaginary prince charming, don't mistake attention for attraction, In my opinion you don't like him, you like the attention he gives you which is what you mean when you say attachment.

It also appears to me that you are a nice girl in the sense that you don't want to hurt his feelings due to the online bond you have created, think of it like this, You stop this, you do both yourself and him a favor, allow him to find someone who will appreciate him in full and you will find someone who not only will have a connection but will be attracted towards, don't be like the guys who marry an overweight woman because they wanted something stable to hold them down but deep inside they are rottening, I know a relative who is in that exact predicament, he has been cheating on her left and right.
