I’ve been speaking to a guy for just over a week. We went on a date yesterday, just got a coffee for a few hours. We got a long really well and we plan to go on another date. He is nice but our interests are quite different. I’m very active and I love going out to the beach or doing something in the fresh air and I don’t think it’s his kind of thing. He also seems genuinely nice but I don’t want to rush anything.

I like to keep my social media accounts to friends or people close to me only. He told me his mum found out he went on a date and he has sent me a friend request. I don’t want to reject it but I don’t want to accept it either just yet. I feel like it’s too soon, I still want to date other people first as well. What should I do?

It’s just a friend request, not a marriage proposal… there’s nothing bad if you become friend on the social media, if the next dates don’t go well and you two take two different paths, you can always delete his friendship!
