This question is for guys. Are girls at a disadvantage off the bat if they “like” guys on a dating app? Is it better to wait and sift through the likes you get as a women, in your opinion? Thanks

Most guys would happily say yes to a girl they find attractive. So no, women are not at a disadvantage if they message first.

The issue is, girls tend to aim higher than what their estimated dating market perceived value is. And the guys who receive their likes generally reject them. Most girls aim for the same top 10% to 20% of men, regardless of where they place on the chart.

I can tell you the only relationships I got into when it came to meeting online, was when the girl initiated first. It shows their genuine interest in you and you're not stuck second guessing if they're interested or not.

If anything, initiating increases a girl's chances, at least in my eyes. It shows they're not a sheep that just follows the crowd and aren't afraid to speak their mind.

Not if you choose the right guy. Problem is most women do not make very good decisions when it comes to guys.

So like em first, or wait for them. Odds are you're going to choose poorly either way.
