Is something wrong with me if I want a female friend in the friendzone while in a relationship?

I’m in a loving relationship. And I love my girlfriend with all my heart. Lately though, I kind of been wanting to have a female friend. But strictly platonic on my end. I would never cheat on my girlfriend no matter what. I’m actually good looking, so I get flirted at times. And I’ve always seem to have women be into me, or push beyond the boundaries of friends while with me. I just never had a normal friendship with a girl. And when I tried to do it a few months ago. I explained to them I had a girlfriend, they felt uncomfortable. And would ghost me or tell me to talk to my girlfriend (but I’m not even cheating, and I do talk to my girlfriend). So I’m thinking the only way I can have a female friend is by friendzoning her. I feel bad about this, but I’m tired of having all male friends.

Seems weird you would crave that..
I have never in all my life ever craved a male friendship unless I was looking for people to do something more dangerous or risky.. Like mud bogging or riding ATV's or getting free drugs.. other than that male friends are rarely needed since if they aren't trying to fuck you they tend to say rude or dumb shit all the time, sure they are funny but I can get that from my partner. I would never think I need a guy friend lol. I would recommend looking into your relationship for whatever you are craving from having a female friend..

I have many male friends. My husband has many female friends. Friends hang out with friends. It is not rocket science, but for some bizarre reason some people just don't get it.

I'm in a casual friends with benefits relationship while in college. It is ok to have friends of the opposite sex that you are not sexually involved with I think it is a good thing and healthy. Just tell the girls up front that you want to be friends and nothing more.
