Is it normal to not have a close female friend?

I'm in the exact same situation. As an adult is so hard for me to be friends with other women. Growing up I didn't have the best experience with other girls and I feel like that kind of traumatized me. My best friends are a gay couple and my Husband. I get along with other women but I do not consider them my friends I do not trust them enough to share details of my life or my issues.

I think it becomes more normal as we get older. I mainly hang out with my fiancé and cousins (who are basically my sisters/brothers) and don’t feel like I'm missing anything.

The older you get , you begin to see what " friends " actually are , and many are better avoided , it doesn't matter , last thing you need is some friend for the sake of it..
