Are you ever bored with your life?

Ik this sounds horrible but im bored with my life im 25 I've been with the same man for 5 years I always wonder if I would of been a party girl and gone to clubs and lived my life up instead of being a grown up and working all the time and just staying home... anyone else every felt this away or am I just a horrible person... I love this man and he's amazing I just am tired of always being so responsible

If you did the things you mentioned, then you'd permanently be unable to have a good, successful, happy, loving relationship for the rest of your life.

It is common for women to get bored and be unsatisfied with a clam, consistent, dependable relationship. Many women can't stand to not have drama and problems in their lives. It is one of their worst traits and their own worst problem in life.

I'd suggest trying out a new hobby, maybe take an interest in one of your husband's hobbies if you don't have interests of your own yet. Or maybe try to learn and get into watching a new sport that you haven't in the past. You could take up learning a musical instrument, reading a new type of book, drawing/painting, a new type of fitness (biking, hiking, martial arts, etc.) or something else creative.

Then take a day off take your man and just go off and do something fun and new. If your bored then don't be bored.

I live in a small town in a rural farming community and even I can find plenty of stuff to do to have fun so surely you should be able to.

Not in a dramatic way, more like those quiet moments where life feels repetitive.

But I take it as a signal, not a flaw.

When I’m bored, it usually means I need growth, new challenges, or a shift in direction.

So instead of sitting in it, I try to use it to recalibrate.

In my 20s yes, but my 30s has been my sexual awakening. So I'm rarely bored anymore. Not saying sex is the only way to keep from being bored but it sure does help.

Going out to clubs to get drunk and meet fuck boys who don't give a shit about you and jumping on their dicks isn't the solution to your problems. If you think that's the only fun stuff to do in life then you need to wake the fuck up. You can have fun and be responsible at the same time. Nobody says you have to sit at home all the time, you can go out and do fun stuff any time you want.
