I hate asking vague questions in the title like this, but a guy sent me a dm that said, "dinner, show, dancing."
Now as a package, none of that really appeals to me. I do like dinner, I like to eat, I do go to a lot of shows, I do like dancing. But the dinner, show, dancing date doesn't do much for me. Nevertheless, I'm willing to do it as a first date or a later date in our relationship if that's what he wants to do, and I'm sure most girls would, and some probably like that combo particularly.
So it occurred to me from that dm, generally, I think more than sex, or just sex, guys are really looking for a nice pretty girl to take around and show off, and talk to, and be a companion and a friend and a girlfriend, and then all the sex stuff, which can be as dirty as you want once we get to that point.

DSD is a classic OG cliche. Your generation probably just doesn't get the value of the invite. A gal like me would smile from ear to ear for a night like that and enjoy an amazing night out.
As for sex... if he's an OG and you're... his daughter's age... he's possibly expecting the young energetic happy ending, otherwise he would have asked a gal old enough to appreciate his invitation.
If he's your age and using his dad's or granddad's dating standards due to his own lack of experience, it's very sweet. Just enjoy the moment. (From what you've written you don't appreciate the offer.)
What's the purpose of this appointment:
Or
If you want to get an understanding of a stranger, then go to the lesser fun events to avoid getting biased by the fun that your favorite activity would otherwise cloud you with.
If you already trust him then don't go to where you wouldn't want to spend your first ever vacation at. ㅤ
I suppose you have a point.
