I’m 24 and he’s 19?

We’ve met on an app for dating and friendship. At first I thought we would just chat for a bit… since all my online friends disappeared after a while. It’s pretty recent, like almost a month and we’ve been chatting ever since. Sometimes we voice call each each other and we talk for hours.
The thing is I’m Brazilian and he is American and our age difference.

He looks pretty mature and talks about having a family, he is also very hardworking. He mentioned about coming to visit my country and meet me. I know is recent and all, but the more we talk, the more I like him.

Can a 19 man like a 24 woman? Can this work out?

It could. Usually the male is older than the female. A lot from women feel weirded out by them being older, especially if he’s as old as their own child (ren). Depending on what type of man he is it’s possible that he would like to establish a relationship early in life. My experience growing up, spending time in the military is that most men his age want to just get laid. I say this to say be careful. A lot of men, like a lot of women tend to tell each other things to get what they want from that person. So just be careful. I will also say that a lot of men from the US are traveling overseas to find a partner. They want a “traditional” woman. can't really find that here in the US. So it’s possible.

He mentioned this to me. Saying like a lot of Americans try to find woman from other countries. He likes to open up to me and I will never judge him or see this as a weakness. All my life I’ve never gave much thought about having kids and a family, but with him, I feel like it wouldn’t be so bad.
He looks sweet and a gentleman, here where I live, many men just want to have one night stands.

Why is there even a question? It's not like you are contemplating sex or marriage right? Just keep getting to know him and if he visits, he visits. If he tries for sex during the first visit, realize he just wants sex and tell him to leave.

Would it be bad to have sex with him? Not like on the first time we meet, but like what if it happens later on this first visit?
Would he think bad of me? Like ending up not having a serious relationship with me?

I don't have experience with long distance relationships, especially those that started online, so I'm just guessing, but if he even tries for sex during the first visit, the chance that you will have a serious relationship (something with the potential for marriage) seems near 0. Are men obsessed with women/sex? Of course. But that doesn't mean we will even try to get it so early on if we want something real. Exceptions to everything, but I would not trust someone to be serious about a potential life together if they are trying to have sex so early on in a relationship.

19-year-old men are usually painfully immature unless you get really lucky and find one with a half-a-mature brain which is unlikely. Who would take that risk?

Its only a 5 year difference. You are both adults. It might work out. If you do not take a shot it will haunt you when you are older.

Of course you can make it work. I do not think the age difference is that much, especially if he is emotionally mature for his age. Do you think you would be sexually compatible? Have you talked about sex with him?

I haven’t since it’s kind of recent.
To be honest I’m not that experienced, I had 2 partners and had sex like 4 times.
He said he had 2 partners, but with his last girlfriend they had sex a bunch of times.
I’m afraid I’m less experienced.

Since I’m not that experienced I felt nervous if it is bigger than I expected.

It is ok to be a bit nervous when talking about sex but it is just sex after all and it is ok to talk about it. I would not worry about the experience level. It does not matter how many times either of you have had sex in the past. Do you video chat with him? If so maybe see if it leads to some mutual fun watching each other. I did that with a former girlfriend when we were apart for summer break and it was fun to watch each other have some solo fun. Your thoughts?
