They never talk about south East Asians like Indonesians with the same fervour.

They also don’t like darker women with similar traits.

Why are they trying to disguise their colorism as a preference for “more feminine women”?

No, most men don't care about color. They care about culture and values, and the more those align, the more likely men are going to choose them. A woman in the Philippians, for example, likely speaks English, is probably Catholic (essentially a Christian religion), and has the values (mainly femininity and being family-oriented) that men are looking for. That makes it easier to make a relationship work. The more differences there are, the less likely things are going to work. Different languages, religions, different values, etc. matter far more than color.

Men are choosing Asian and Hispanic women over white women in the US, because values are so important. Obviously if color is what mattered, they would be choosing the white women, but so often, they aren't.

The point of my comment is to not sway someone away from a potential partner just because of a language barrier.

I don't think so. My experience is that men may have a slight preference for one skin tone or another, but it does not make a significant difference to them in how they act.
