Ladies, what does your perfect first date look like for you?

I like to keep them simple. It's a first date, I just want to get a feeling for the guy. Having some small activities can make it more fun and interesting and easier to keep the discussion going without awkward silence. It also means that I probably still had some fun even if I don't want to go on a second date, so it's not completely wasted time. But nothing that takes too much time or is too expensive. You don't want to be stuck if there's no chemistry.

That's assuming I don't know the guy at all.

Something basic like a drink date… (non alcoholic) it’s not perfect but it’s a chance to see if he’s worthy of a second date.

I don't date and have no plans to date in the neare future +/-20 years) and thus, my postion right now does not apply for the immediate.

However, if I was forced to date, then my first date would obviously be in a place where I can feel safe. It would have to be during the daytime in a public place with a lot of people around, just in case something goes wrong and I would need the help of others.

That first date would be in a cafe and last about one hour at best. A first date is basically a "get to know each other" encounter without any further expectations.
