Why do women today seem to avoid dating men their own age?

It really seems like Most women want a guy that's younger than them these days.. I was talking to this lady who is a little older to me and at first she seemed interested in getting to know me. On the outside I literally look like I'm 22-24 at the latest (that's what most people say) but in actuality I'm 33 and once I said that she instantly was turned off, like all the way. I feel like if I told her I was younger she would've proceeded to flirt with me.. why is 2026 like this..

The male should ALWAYS be older , only young guys who want a mother they can fo ok think differently.

Man must ALWAYS older than the woman , women address menopause early and are literally unbearable , hence the reasoning.

I do not know if all women feel that way but age is just a number. Maturity, hygiene, confidence and a youthful attitude also come into play.

You must live in a parallel world. Go out and ask 100 random women and probably 90+ of them have a guy their age or older.
