Where can a 33-year-old guy actually meet single women in their 30s?

My female friends have been giving me a hard time about dating girls 10 years younger than me, I'm 33. They say I should give someone my own age a chance. I honestly would, but it seems like it's really hard to find single Women in their 30s.

I love to go out at night and socialize at bars, I always meet a lot of girls. Most of them are between 21 and 25, but it's pretty rare to find any older than that. They've set me up a couple times with a few my age, but I got the vibe that they were more interested in finding someone good enough to settle down with instead of just trying to have fun and get to know each other. Where are some good places to meet singles in their 30s? It seems like they're nowhere to be seen at social events

I had the same problem when I was in my 30’s. All the single women my age were looking for “Mr ideal husband” before it was too late to have kids. I had a shitty job and lived in a rundown old house with my brother and dad and was not the ideal candidate. After 45 they usually just want a guy who is not a piece of shit, or a guy who can finance their retirement

I have a good job, and have things going for me. But yeah its kinda a turn off when the first thing I get asked is how much I make a year lol

A woman should only ask how much you make when you two are making plans to buy or rent a place together, when it actually matters. My response before trust would be “check, please!”

Anywhere and everywhere. My husband approached me while I was grocery shopping. My boyfriend before him, I met at a train station. You are only limited by your confidence and motivation to make things happen.

Apps are easier for specific ages but people of all ages go to bars. Maybe your specific one is a younger group?

I live in a smaller city of 30,000. It's a college city so it's always busy and fun, but it's definitely a younger demographic as far as girls at the bar.

Never lived in a small town but I imagine you either need to find some other nearby towns and deal with some manageable distance or relax your preferences a bit considering your lack of choices
