Would you rather your partner prefers your ethnicity or has no ethnic type?

I was speaking to an outgoing gay Hispanic guy who parties every weekend, and he said that he loves that him and his partner are each other's type. He said that he needs to worry about all the ethnicities if his partner does not have a type. My guess is that being in the party scene every weekend probably makes him worry more, but what do you think?

Would you rather he/she has no preference because you'd feel fetishized or is this just overhyped by the media and you agree with the guy talked about above.

I don't see a problem with having a type or a preference... so either is fine with me

if she has a fetish... then I don't want to have anything to do with that

if she's racist... then I don't want to have anything-est with none of that...

so, just of a preference or a type? no problem...

i never thought about it, but to be honest at turkey almost every city is counted as their own ethnicity like people from east (adana, urfa etc etc) treated like arabs, or someone from blacksea can be treated as if he is expected to be a sociopath with anger issues or someone from izmir (especially if they are woman) s. lut.

I guess I wouldn’t care as long as he doesn’t have a preference for a type that looks or is nothing like me. But I also wouldn’t want him to have some weird obsession either because then it means he could get easily attracted to anyone with similar characteristics or he doesn’t just see me as an individual.
