Do you think that men are more accepting of women with hairy legs or that women are more accepting of men with shaved legs?

The reason I ask is because both go against gender norms and I'm wondering whether men or women are more accepting of the sex they're attracted to going against gender norms.

I personally believe that men are more accepting of women with hairy legs than women are more accepting of men with shaved legs.

The men who hate hairy legs on women tend to lean younger. Older men are generally fine with hairy legs on women. As women get older and get pregnant and have kids it's unrealistic to expect them to have silky smooth legs 24/7.

However shaved legs on men are perceived as homosexual and feminine so women are unlikely to accept it regardless of age.

In general I'd say men care less about a woman's appearance and just want a kind woman who can love them while women basically want a perfect man who is always stoic and manly and tall and hairy and bearded and big, combination of muscle and fat.

Men are more accepting of women with hairy legs.

Women are more accepting of men with shaved legs.

I firmly think that woman (especially today) are far, far more down with men manscapping and shaving, everywhere and anywhere, than any guys are (or would be) with hairy legs!!! My boyfriend shaves all sorts of shit, all the time, just for fun.
That’d have to be a very particular kinda mountain man hippy that got off on hirsute females, or someone that liked his women ‘au natural’ and hairy! (woof!)

Oh really? Interesting. I genuinely had no idea of that perspective. I guess if logic were to be applied then a man shaving would denote greater effort than usual into his appearance while a woman not shaving would instead denote lack of effort.

Not saying I necessarily agree and it's pretty arbitrary but that's my guess.

It is not unlikely to accept, in-fact its always made me more attractive. I shave my legs, as I always did as a swimmer. I barely have body hair in the first place so it's just feels and looks better bare.

Yeah I can see that. I can see the appeal of both hairy and shaved legs on both men and women.

Shaved legs feel REALLY nice to touch though. Whenever a person who shaved be it woman or man tells me to feel their legs I won't even turn the offer down.

For me personally I am accepting of women with hairy legs but I do definitely still prefer shaved if given the choice.

The feeling of a woman's silky smooth legs after she just finished shaving and has rubbed lotion all over them is just heavenly and a woman never partaking in that would be disappointing though not a dealbreaker if I liked her otherwise.

And though this is definitely not something I do regularly a past girlfriend was a swimmer and liked guys who shaved so I shaved for her and rubbing my smooth legs against her smooth legs was heavenly times 2. Though I've never done it again since.

Where I live most men don't necessarily prefer hairy legs on women but they don't mind it or find it a turn off either. They can understand women aren't perfect. They can understand if women don't shave because they don't have the time or energy to.

That’s a good point. TBH I’ve seen girls with hairy legs, but I’ve never seen a guy who wasn’t trans shave his legs. Though I think competitive swimmers do it and nobody gives them any shit.

That does make sense. Hairy is the default natural state of legs but however people need to go out of their way to shave.

Most women I assume do like the smooth legs after shaving but hate the process itself so if men aren't socially required to shave it makes no sense they'd want to do this tedious thing that not even women like doing. Similar to if men started wearing bras which not even a lot of women like to do.

But yeah competitive swimmers as well as a lot of athletes in general do it, a lot of them most likely to show off muscle definition better.

Bodybuilders shave their whole bodies and you rarely if ever see anyone giving them shit lol.

Hard to give shit to someone you know could easily kick your ass.
