Should I keep waiting for this situationship guy or date my sister’s boss?

I've known this guy for 8 years, throughout them years we've been "friends"/ situations hip on and off. We met are gig he was playing and ever since its been that way.

We've never slept together as I've told him if he wants me like that he's gotta make more of a commitment and take things seriously because i want to save that for someone special but we do make out often and just rely on each other for comfort. We snuggle up on the sofa for example and he tells me im gorgeous and play fight abit but making out is as far as ill let it go.

I really do like him and I know im stupid for ever expecting him to settle one day but we have fun together, I find him attractive its not as if i dont get anything out the relationship. There was one time we were making out in his car and he kept putting his hand in my back pocket and under my t shirt. He kept saying I was driving him crazy and he was rock hard so I got out the car and told him i was leaving because I ain't falling for that bs.

My stister hate this guy and wants me to meet someone nice. she's been trying to set me up with her boss for years as apparently he has a big crush on me since I went to her work Christmas party with her a couple years back. he's very good looking, seems really sweet and kind, has a nice car and house and is really successful. My stister says I need to grow up and stop playing around with this other guy and find a man who is serious and respectable.

I came to pick up my stister the othe day from work and her boss came out and asked me out on a date and gave me his number. I said id call him
