I feel like confidence can look really different depending on the person. Some people are naturally loud and outgoing, and some are more quiet but still really sure of themselves. For me, the most attractive kind is when someone knows who they are and knows their worth without constantly needing attention or trying to prove something. What kind of confidence do you find most attractive?

A quiet confidence in themselves and who they are. Being loud is the opposite of attractive for me. I like when a girl has strong views and a logical mind, but isn't obnoxious about it. I like a confidence in her femininity as well. Confidence in dresses and feminine clothing. Confidence that she's attractive. Confidence and being completely okay relying on a guy... not insecure and trying to compete with guys in every aspect.
I get that yes. 👍
I'm gonna go with quiet confidence based on experience. Women tell me all the time I'm really confident. They tell me they feel safe around me. Their perception, not mine. I never really think about confidence per se. But I'm a big quiet introvert who never feels a need to fill a silence for the sake of noise. Women seem to be comfortable with that.
Guys on the other hand react to me very differently. I started out at one place last Friday night, left to meet up with a group of women at a waterfront place for a couple of hours, then went back to the first place for dinner. I was sitting there solo eating my chicken marsala with a glass of pinot grigio and 2 loudmouthed assholes in their 50's come in and stand right behind me. I just wanted to have dinner and maybe a Bourbon and head home. They wouldn't shut up. They were hitting on every women within 10 feet. There were two women next to me minding their own business. Eventually the insecure loudmouth asshole shifted over a few feet and started hitting on them. They WOULD NOT STFU. I half turned in my seat, locked eyes with them, put my index finger to my lips and did a shhhh. The two women next to me started giggling. The two assholes mumbled to each other and moved away. I turned back to my dinner.
Lmao I could completely imagine that….
Loud s not needed. Outgoing is pretty nice, though.
Shortly after I started going to college, I was going from one class to another and had to stop to tie my shoe. As I was doing that, this gorgeous blonde was purposefully striding down the hill towards me with this huge toothy smile and, several yards before she even got to me, she stuck her hand out in front of her to shake mine, boldly told me her name and said she's wanted to meet me ever since she saw me in the lunch room a few days before. She said she thought I was a really neat guy.
My first day working at Cedar Point, I had to work at the Panther Pitch and there was a really cute girl there, Sharon. She was very outgoing and quite funny and that combo really attracted me.
Yes, a social butterfly can definitely be super attractive, when they are genuinely sure of themselves and genuinely kind.
When somebody owns who they are.
I see this in the younger generations and it saddens me that so many people are acting like what the think attracts others. I see women on this site asking these questions. Just different variations of, " how can i attract men". Rather than just being who they are and allowing those men to just naturally gravitate to her. And guys following some playbook. I get that both genders have their own tendencies. But while that might work initially are you going to play that character for therest of the time you know them?🤷♂️ Why not just make it easier on everyone, yourself included and be who you are from the start. Yeah, it might not work out. But that's because it wasn't supposed to work out with that person. There are 4 billion of that gender. I promise you, you'll meet another one.🤣
Exactly…
Interesting that you mention "constantly needing attention or trying to prove something" in a question about confidence. Isn't that quote the definition of insecurity?
For me, I like when a woman makes a mistake and laugh at herself afterwords. She knows that everyone has failures and the experience just makes her stronger.
Yes great response 👍
When someone doesn't overestimate themselves knows exactly where they are but still chooses not to be insecure about it.. Let's say if a woman knows that she's "average" or not the most beautiful, but doesn't let that define her worth..
Self-awareness without the insecurity is definitely attractive yes
Alright, stop trying to be smart by correctly simplifying what I said.. 😂😂..
For me, it's the kind of confidence that can only come from having the one physical attribute that is most tied to masculinity. It's the one undeniable thing that compares favorably to anything else like loks or money or intelliegence. All those are important, but even the best looking, wealthiest, or most intelligent guys understand the power of a really big dick over other men and over women who have experienced it. It's why I prefer the confidence of those Blacks who really have the most down there. It's confidence that is so secure and knowing that nothing can change or deny it.
That confidence that doesn't make noise or try too hard to be noticed.
Same
I enjoy it when confidence results from a form of peace within, it's soothing so it is attractive in that sense
Yep, I agree.
The kind where you're not putting on a show, looking for reactions or putting other people down for something other than principles
Right..
When it is quiet, grounded self-assurance—the kind that requires zero validation from the room.
Yes 🩵
When they wear very minimal makeup and only wear their natural hair. I love all of that.
Me too
People who are confident show a certain body language and the way the hold their head up when having a conversation, when stand, and when they are walking. Confident body language.
When people are competent but act like it is no big deal.
lol yea
Girls place so much importance on confidence, which is naive. Confidence is easily faked, half the time it’s bullshit.
And half of the time it is genuine… I can tell when it is 🤌
Hogwash my dear
The quiet kind that is based on humble ability.
💯 I agree
The real kind, as you said not needing attention
Right..
I’m aware of the saying “ No one holds a high opinion of a man, who holds a low opinion of himself”
Having said, I disagree that confidence has anything to do with attraction when really the physical is #1 for both men and women.
Able to openly be ones self and talk about what they enjoy, without putting up a mask.
Good answer
I like when girls go all out naked with confidence
Only for my man lol
Surprisingly many people are attracted by narcissists who beat the shit out of their ego. They don't like nice people care for them but they like the ones look down at them use them disdain them degrade them
Definitely not “many”
In a woman it's physical delicacy tgat is super hot. Being able to do things gracefully or just move like satin is wow.
MY confidence in myself is enough
As it should be 👍
That’s the kind I love
7phoenix7 confidence is the best
