No. Maybe for a SECOND marriage.
And you're right, if you're umarried in your 30's there is 25 to 35% chance you never will. More so for women than for men.
Don't take this as G@G grapeshot or anything because all i'm trying to do is answer your question. But i'm sure you know a woman's sexual market value is highest in her 20's. This is why the avg. age first marriages for a woman is 28.1 years. Women know that optimal window is closing and 30 is about the age men really start wising up. A woman can still get a husband, but she's going to have to work much more for it in her 30's. And by the time a guy has hit his 40's he questions whether getting married is worth it at all. Women sexual market value crashes through the floor at 40. Again, you can still get a husband at this point. But you'll probably have to convince HIM at this point as these are a man's prime income earning years. To put things simply, women become a significant liability to a man. All risk, and little to no reward (at least on the surface). Because if she were a good woman the odds state some guy would have wifed her up by now. And good women generally do not go back on the market. So that kind of makes it much clearer what she is.
Keep in mind i'm NOT saying you should rush this decision. Because a GOOD woman will ALWAYS be a GOOD woman. And a GOOD woman ALWAYS has value at ANY age. If you're a GOOD woman you'll always be able to get a good man. Just know you'll have to work harder and your pool to choose fr I mwill be much smaller. But that's not a problem to a GOOD woman.👍 It's better you take your time and make the RIGHT decision.
If you're getting married in your 30's you're about 10 years late to the party and picking through other people's leftovers. And for women, fertility takes a precipitous drop from about age 35. By age 40 the chance of getting pregnant is down to about 5% per cycle and birth defects increase sharply. Marriage and fertility is for people in their 20's.
There is a difference between physical prime and marriage prime. Most people date in 20s and marry in 30s
This usually applies more to women than men. As most people know most men want younger women. Women aren’t too keen on wanting younger men, they typically want a man who’s a little older, who has experience, is stable financially. I’m not saying once a female hits 30 it’s all over. But it does lower her chances at that age as opposed to when she was younger of meeting someone.
Most women in 20s aren't interested in dating 40 to 50 yr old men. Men have a prime too.
Most men marry in their 30s, not 40s to 50s
lol ok. Is that why you’re still looking
@opinion owner
From what I've seen, people in their 40s to 50s rarely ever get married.
And you are?
why do you ask?
No you’re not
No, people marry at all ages. This bullshit the trolls come with about a woman's sexual market value is laughably delusional.
And posting it from your multiple accounts won't make it any more believable.
Lmao. XD
It peaks about 30, but it's pretty broadly spread.
I suspect your bigger challenge will be to find a high-value partner as you age, not a willing partner.
Where by 'it' I mean the rate of unmarried people becoming married people peaks about 30.
From what I've seen, people in their 40s to 50s rarely ever get married.
Meh. You start with a generational cohort some of whom desire marriage, some of whom don't. Then you remove 2/3 of that group that by their 40s are already married. It's fair to assume marriage is a priority for a far smaller share of those left. Probably they are just busy doing other things with their lives.
@mrchinaski
no I have seen this in every generation up until this point. Vast majority of marriages are done when people are under 40.
Prime is definitely before then, which is why it starts getting so much harder after 30
There is a difference between physical prime and marriage prime. Most people date in 20s and marry in 30s
Not 30s, at exactly 30 is when most people marry. At 31, if you are not married then your chances of ever getting married is already plummetting. So 20-30 is prime, and 31 is already getting over the hill
@lazerbean
that's highly dependent on where you live. If you live in NYC, most people marry and have kids in their early to mid 30s. If you live in the south, most people marry in their early to mid 20s.
That is true, what I said is still the average though.
Really? 😂
I got married at the age of 21 and my ex wife was 17, our marriage lasted nearly 9 years, so now you're telling my chances are zero in getting married again 😌
just because more people are doesn't mean it's prime. prime is early 20's
There is a difference between physical prime and marriage prime. Most people date in 20s and marry in 30s
I would have preferred my 20's but that is obviously not happening.
Nonsense. Lots of people get married older
Got any data that supports that?
