What does "ha" mean when texting?

To me ha usually is just another way to say I smiled or laughed. It's kind of like when I have a single breathy smile laugh. Or if I make a single laugh noise.

No, and about that. I've had conversations with my friends about this. Most of my friends just use it to mean they're laughing. They're not being sarcastic at all.

All he said was ha? I wouldn't necessarily take that as a bad thing. I honestly wouldn't worry about it.
