Would you give a guy a chance if he waited 2 weeks to call you back?

Say you gave a guy your phone number and then he called you up two weeks later and was like I'm so and so from the bar we met at. Honestly I didn't even remember because it had been a while and then when I hung up I felt kinda bad cause I was thinking omg it was probably that guy. But...then I thought I shouldn't feel bad cause it took him two weeks to call. Not sure what that means.

From a guy's point of view, I can't tell you if you should or should not call him back but I can tell you what he's trying to do. Most of the guys I know do that and it's part of being on the "fly" and avoid looking needy. It's a tactic we use. People will suggest 3-5 days after you get a girl's number to contact her, but in our sick minds, we think that the longer we wait, the less needy it makes us. In reality it's really the reverse. Think about it, he remembers a sexy girl he met at a bar TWO WEEKS ago, but like Jesus, haven't you met others since? Last weekend, the girl he met at the bar blew him off and what is he left with? The girl he met 2 weekends ago... honestly, he definitely finds you attractive but didn't know how to play his cards so he figured he could try this cheap tactic and get somewhere. If that's you in the pic, then don't worry about losing out on this guy, you have a deep sexy flair and you'll meet a guy in no time... ;) just sayin' :D Hope this helped!

This reminds me of the time I met this gorgeous girl in my cousin's friend birthday party, we talked, we flirted, but unfortunatelly I never asked for her phone or Facebook, 8 months later (yes 8 months) I found her on Facebook, I sent her a message saying about the good times that we had back then, but she didn't answered back...It sucks because I know there was chemistry, but I can't blame her if she didn't remember me...i should have asked for her deets at the time, but for many reasons it didn't happen but whatever.

Does it really matter? If you like him and are interested in getting to know him and spend time with him feel bad, otherwise don't worry about it...

People put too much emphasis on what people should and shouldn't be doing when you first meet, you do not know each other, so why all the rules?

your right for blowing him off, guy sounds like a weirdo anyway. who waits 2 weeks? I usually call the day after. iam straight up when I get a chance I don't try and miss the boat so to speak. mind you iam not really looking for a girlfriend or anything right now just friend relationships. I got a lot going on right now that a serious relationship would just weigh me down.
