all the girls that have liked me are just average. I re-download hinge. 5 days, 17 girls liked me and I’m just like….. mehhh. Only one I would say is pretty. Even then I should be doing better.

Long story made short: I was friends with a girl, developed feelings for her and was rejected. We agree to remain friends, but I told her that I would need time away from her to process. It has been two months since this happened and we haven`t talked since.

Part of me greatly miss her as a friend and want to restart contact.

Another part is afraid that I will not be able to get over the crush and will just suffer to stay near her, so it is best to keep my distance.

Another part wants to keep more distance for now, but to give another try for a romantic relationship in the long term, but I am skeptical about getting a yes after a no.

Overall, I am confused and I dont`t no which path to follow. Please, enlighten my way, random people of the internet

I noticed the kind of girls I'm into seem to be the stay-at-home type like me and only really leave for work. Are apps really the only way to initiate conversations?

A lot of these dudes don't get girlfriend's BUT they might get dates. it's until they start opening their mouths about what they think of women as a whole that i would think causes women to leave them and they remain single.

so makes me wonder if any girl here has dated any guys who had such terrible misogynistic views of women before. and how did it go?

Definition:

misogynist: feeling, showing, or characterized by hatred of or prejudice against women.

And by gentleman, and chivalry, I mean the desire to protect, provide, and if needed lay down his life for her.

I would say no. If you're the kind of woman who is dating and sexually active with multiple men at the same time, if you're the kind of woman posting thot style thirst traps, if you're the kind of women who seeks attention of multiple men, you're undeserving of having a chivalrous gentleman as your partner.

On that same token, if you're a guy who is a player, a narcissist, a loser, doesn't have his life together, you're undeserving of a good woman and a lady..

I get guys and girls that have called me handsome. Even a female friend telling me I’m the whole a package, that I’ve got it all going for me.

I am tall and handsome I believe but I’ve never had a girlfriend.

It feels like women are only attracted to a tiny percentage of men.

Is it true they date average looking guys? Why?
