Depends on what they are. If he sets high standards for himself (for his own goals) that makes him attractive, because it shows that he’s always striving to be the best version of himself. When it comes it to dating, as long as those standards are realistic and actually naturally attainable - that makes him attractive. I don’t get offended if I don’t meet a guy’s high standards (thankfully that’s never been the case lol) because that means he knows his self worth and what he wants in a partner. But if we’re talking about superficial and shallow standards like “she has to have natural DD boobs with a 32” waist” then it makes him unattractive - no matter how good looking / successful he is as a man.

Depends personally on what the standards are. I don’t want a man that doesn’t allow me to be a human and not always have myself put together.

I would tweak this a bit and say, "it's attractive when a man has code he lives by". Standards come into play when he does. Because it says he stands for something.

Now what those standards are determines how attractive he is. Because a guy who says "my standards are I don't date fat chicks" is probably going to turn most women off. But if a guys standards are "I don't respect a person who does not take responsibility for themselves" will be attractive to those women who take responsibility for themselves.

A man should NEVER worry about what a woman thinks of him. A man should only worry about being honorable, being a man of his word, and the RIGHT women will come.
