We matched on hinge and had great text chemistry. And we were both clearly looking forward to meeting each other and really excited about the upcoming date. But then all of a sudden I felt really nervous a bit before the date. And the venue was also loud and cold. And I met her and I could see she wanted to connect. Like when we were queuing for a drink she faced me and I was just facing forward and looking at the menu. She then said she wanted to go outside because she’s got a perfume on which she doesn’t like. Anyway it was freezing and eventually we went back in. But it was awkward in general the whole date. I asked if she wanted to go somewhere else and she said sure but then pulled a face. Then when we got outside she said “you know what I’ve had a really long day and I think I’m going to be really boring and go home. But we should get lunch sometime” and then we walked to the station and she said “you need to send me all these films you’ve suggested”. Then when we got to the station she said “I had a lot of fun, thank you. We should definitely get lunch somewhere and let me know when you get home” and she gave me a hug. I think she was just trying to reject me softly so I sent her “Just got home. I think the venue was a bit off, sorry if it felt awkward. It's no secret that most modern women still expect men to pay the bill when on a date, despite claiming they oppose traditional gender roles. They justify it by saying whoever asked the other out on a date is obligated to pay. How convenient that is when women also expect men to approach and ask women out, again while ostensibly being against traditional gender roles.

At the end of the day, the thanks men get for taking the initiative and risking rejection is that they will have to pay for everything, too.

Hypocritical much?

Like the first person they have dated and/or had sex with.

How do you feel about short men of height around 5'6?

The reason why many men don’t like taller women as much is because they either get intimidated or don’t think they adequate enough for it. So their brain chooses shorter because they think it might be easier for energy match, plus a lot of these men developed a kind of craving for youngess they can pair with themselves due to feeling like some women aren’t as open so it manifests as craving something that will attach to them in a girlish way.

regardless most men do find tall women attractive, and if they have to consciously say they prefer shorter without even being prompted it’s usually what I just said. But generally taller is more attractive than shorter.
