I once got called for a temp job to sit in on a 9th grade math class and assist the teacher.
(That meant I got paid to do nothing)
The teacher asked a girl sitting in the front row what percentage of the potato chips she had left in the bag she was rudely eating in class. She had no clue. The teacher then asked her what percentage of potato chips she'd have left in the bag, if the bag was unopened. She had NO clue!!
The teacher then asked another girl..."If you had three friends coming over, and the four of you were going to divide your Snickers bar into fourths, what percentage of the Snickers bar would each of you have?"
The girl said: "40% each?"
Am I good at math? Prior to that experience, I'd have to say, NO!
After that experience... I think I'm a fucking mathematical genius!
But now I'm hungry... :(

No. I am sooooo bad at math. I don’t know what I’m going to do when I have kids who need help. I just don’t seem to be capable. Geometry was nice though. I liked geometry. But algebra, oh no. And EVERYTHING is algebra. Even geometry is algebra. I can’t even do science, because math. I even like math. You heard right. I like it. But I hate it. It’s fun, but it’s so hard, it’s become painful.
Math was one of my best subjects in school, I found it kind of like a puzzle in some ways, but also straightforward in others. The answer was always there, you just had to figure out the order to do things in, the proper equations to use, but once you figured it out it was as simple as typing numbers in a calculator or doing the calculations in your head. I found doing calculations in my head quite easy and my teachers found that somewhat annoying because I often didn't show my work for how I got from one step to the next because I wrote down the equation, did it in my head/calculator (if it was allowed) and then wrote down the answer to save time.
I'm a computer science student so yeah I'm okay, I kinda just get numbers :) and from my physics I think the stuff in the picture is about kinetic energy, gravitational potential energy and rotational energy so I imagine planets orbits? (but I haven't done physics in a couple years now)

Why does the picture show formulas of mechanics? Isn't work, energy and rotational motion part of physics?
I can do the type of math I need to for like work. But in general, no I suck at math. My subjects are science, history and psychology.
Fair. Don't ask me to differentiate or integrate anything other than simple polynomials, without a refresher course, but I can still do most high-school maths.
Nope matter a fact math is the reason I got kicked out of my first college and why I dropped outta the next one, Fuck math that shit makes me feel stupid which why I have no intentions of going back to college
I know basic math, but I am no expert (I start having trouble when it gets to a certain point... (339 + 582 ÷ 17 = 😱)
I’m not the best at it but it’s really really soothing for me for some reason. Math is really comforting and reliable. Not the best at it lol but I like it a lot.
And nvm. Mechanics ain’t optional for physics, everyone has to do it, or those who chose physics ig.
Rubbish. My brain leans towards English and Humanities.
No, at school I sucked. I forget how to do Fractions and the one I hated the most, Decimals. UGH! In college, math time, forgot how to do everything.
I'm alright but not anything to rave over, by the way I'm in 12th
Math is pretty broad of a topic. I’m pretty good in various different parts of math, but prefer analysis over geometry and topology, though I do intend learning more about those things in the future.
I am bad at math in the sense that I once passed a Dynamical Systems course with the lowest grade in that class.
I am good in the sense that I tutored calc for a while.Math has been enjoying most of the time, with the exception of proofs I am very good
I still dont know how to do long division from 5th grade. Just carry the two... always carry the two.
good enough to get by but not good enough to have a math related masters degree.
I'm good at problem solving, so math might be my thing.
Very, doing Calculus on my own when I was 11.
According to the GRE, I'm better at it than 84% of graduate school applicants.
Im an engineer. So yes. Particularly liked differential equations and calc 3.
I am not. But i wanna date a guy who is good at math.
