Student draws devil with goat horns... Should she get in trouble?

In art class, she drew something like this and people are saying that she's a Satanist. She's gifted at drawing but she's weird and that's literally all she does in every class --- is draw.

Haha well believe it or not when I was a kid I use to scribble the swastika in my notepad. And other students thought I was a Nazi and I didn't even know what a Nazi was lol...

The thing is I don't think a lot of people know the swastika was a symbol in Chinese culture for peace. This is way before the Germans adopted it to mean something else...

I saw the swastika symbol in old Chinese movies like the monkey king and other movies that featured God's and goddesses.

So to me I was just drawing something I thought looked cool in a movie.

Now I'm not sure if the same can be applied here. I mean no matter how you try to twist it at the end of the day she drew a devil with horns.

I'm not sure if you can call her a satanist tho. For all I know maybe she was just copying something from a metal band's album art.
