Is it a turn off when your partner is bad at Maths?

I'm speaking about Maths equations and etc.

Does that mean they are dumb or unintelligent?

Intelligence is measured in many ways. Having expertise in something is one of many ways to measure intelligence.

The ability to string together words to communicate a meaningful thought, write a book, compose a song or music, produce a movie, create a business, develop a medicine, attune with one's emotions and those of others are some of the endless examples of intelligence.

I'm quite good at maths, and I prefer that a partner be capable of at least doing the algebras. That being said, being good at maths doesn't mean you're intelligent (and being bad doesn't mean you're dumb). There are different types of intelligence and everyone is different. Some people are better at analysing literature. Some are more emotionally intelligent. Either way, being bad at maths isn't a deal breaker for me.

I'm good at maths, but I wouldn't see anything wrong with it if my partner was bad at math.
