Do you think the older woman should be ashamed herself?

So I work in an office and I have been on holidays so I have not been in work but down the hall there is a woman called Ann who works there and only last week a new young girl who was only 22 started to work alongside her. Its just the two of them in one office. But the young girl who worked quit after 3 days as Anne was so nasty to her and made a lot of nasty comments and basically just picked her apart in those 3 days. Do you think Anne should be ashamed of herself and do you think the girl was right to quit? Basically the young girl was so reliant on her to learn everything and Anne just picked her apart. There was noone else around to even help the young girl as it is just the two of them in one office.

It must’ve been horrible for the girl if she quit within 3 days. I think ‘Anne’ should be very ashamed and embarrassed. Some (not all) older people get quite jealous of younger people and this happens as a result, it’s childish

I mean, older people can be like shit with younger people and that's s normalised. For her to quit in 3 days, it should had been a nightmare
