What were you most favorite and least favorite subjects in High school? In which subject you did good (How much you score (d) in average)?

Physics: It was my most favorite subject in grade 8. You just needed to have common sense to ace it. It was just all about Friction, Sound, Motion and force. Without numerical. This year they have added loads of Numerical and it is getting stressing. In average I get 92-94% in this subject. In last surprise test I got 10/10

Biology: I'm neither a fan nor a hater of biology. If I concentrate then I do quite well and if I keep it loose then BOOM It becomes the most difficult one. I get 88-92% in this subject. In last surprise test I got 10/10

Chemistry: This is my least favorite one. I only loved that Acid and Bases chapter which was in grade 7. This is not in my cup of tea. I get 87-90% in this and I'm trying to improve badly. In last surprise test I got 9/10

Geography: I like certain chapters of this but not all. Most of it is about memorising only. I like to research more about Geographic topic in internet though. I get 95-97% in this. In last surprise test I got 10/10

Civics (Political science): I really love all the case study given this year. This is one of my favorite subject now also the teacher made me love this subject more than ever. Before it was boring and all about democracy but now it is like story with case studies. I get 96-98% in this. In last surprise test I got 10/10

History: Well no comment for this as History isn't started being taught yet now. I get 94-96% in this. No surprise tests yet now

Maths: Honestly it was my least favorite subject before but now I kinda like it as I understand the concept more clearly. Thanks to my dad that he scolded me and taught me lovingly. I get 95-97% in this. In last surprise test I got 10/10

English (1st language): My most favorite teachers is English teachers only. They adore me so much for my writing skills. I impressed this year's English teacher by my novel and poems too. I get 99-100% in this. In last surprise test I got 10/10

Being a study-aholic was worth it! I am pretty satisfied with my marks.

My most favorite subject in school was math. Math just came easy to me. As well as psychology for one year because the teacher was the best teacher I've ever had ever. My least favorite was french as the teacher literally missed like 50% of the school year because of some family problems so she had to go back to Canada. The sub was honestly a way better teacher and I learned more from her in a month than I did from the original french teacher in like two years. I still got a A somehow even when I didn't even do the final for the class. LoL

I was a 4.0 GPA teacher's pet type in high school (if only because I studied a lot harder than my peers) so I excelled in all the courses about equally well at least as far as tests and grades.

Yet my greatest passion was for art and physical education. I also loved physics, but largely because I had the most fun and eccentric physics teacher in high school. He'd play pranks on us all the time with physics experiments.

My least favorite was geography mainly because I had to memorize so many things that I have difficulty memorizing. I still managed to do well in that course but a lot of what I forced myself to memorize quickly faded away from memory after.

I also didn't care so much for math even though I'm a software engineer now by trade. What made math more interesting to me was physics and history. They made the subject far less dry for me.

History and English literature were also rather dry to me. I found I had to force myself to study them. I think it's because I was so wet behind the ears as far as life. I was shy and reserved, hadn't dated yet, had few friends in high school, and didn't really understand adult subjects firsthand like love, betrayal, politics, war, economics, etc. They're subjects I came to love as I grew older and more experienced, but in high school it didn't really resonate with me.

Yes teacher do make a huge change. I loved Physics of previous year for the teacher only. Music and English has been my all time favorite and teachers have the contribution to that. I have the same piano teacher since grade 4 so I always loved this. Still do.

I enjoyed creative writing a lot in English but it's a subject where I never felt particularly comfortable. One disconnect I have is that I can never quite understand poetry or song lyrics in a way that particularly resonates with me on an emotional level. I do love vividly descriptive prose; I might be much more of a visual type of person than a verbal type when it comes to expressing how I feel and understanding how other people feel.

Same for me. I prefer writing song lyrics or poems rather than reading them. There are some decent ones though like "All the world's a stage" . I love novels and stories much more for reading.

One of my favorite authors if you ever have a chance to read his works is Nicholson Baker. An excerpt from The Mezzanine:

He writes about the most mundane plotlines like the story in The Mezzanine is basically about an office worker on a lunch break during which he purchases a new pair of shoelaces. Yet his writing is so vividly descriptive and with little dashes of sentiment here and there.

My favourite subjects during high school were Family Law, Labour Law, English and Italian. My least favourite was accounting 🤣 I had it when I was junior, and the whole class hated 😂

I was good at most of the subjects. I was an A student in almost every class. In the last year of high school, I had all A's, in all 14 subjects. In other years I had also A's and maybe 2 or 3 B's.

i dont really have a favorite subject since i find all of them pain in the asses to me.
i did the best in sst and English, and the absolute worst in math and science and average in hindi and sanskrit.
since it's 9th grade now, i eliminated hindi and took sanskrit
