How would you deal with a tattle tale? Ever had to?

Yes, at the end of every semester I used to send out for pizza at lunch and I would get one of the conference rooms and we would watch a movie. I used to do this as a team building exercise. A guy that worked in the same department saw us one day and told the CIO about it. I explained to him that the college does not have any money budgeted for off sites or anything else like that so I think after a semester of fixing everyone's problems we could hangout for a couple of hours and have some pizza and watch a movie. I plotted how I was going to get revenge on this guy but he left the college and went someplace else.
Get the records, find his name, search it up on Whitepages with the closely accurate results, get your crew together and uh beat him with a bag of heavy soap bars when he's about to sleep, make him feel it
@Zealconsumesme hahahahha I alredy know where he lives.
Lmao
Yes, I've had a few! The boss never liked them.
We had one guy that we tortured mercilessly! One time, we put a sign on his back that said, "I we Todd did!". Other times, because he was CONSTANTLY running to the shitter because of his nervous stomach and, a number of times, flooded the toilet (on the second floor) and had it running down the stairs into the warehouse, we'd get a long strand of shit paper, wad it up into a very loose ball, add a strip of Scotch tape to it and stick it to the bottom of his shirt so it looked like he had half a roll of shit paper trailing from his pants!
I've been a tattle-tale before. Not sure if this is considered a tattle-tale but I had a girl steal my hard work and act like it's hers. So I told the boss about it. Before the boss said anything, the girl came to me and told me she just needed the answers for something she was doing. I was like oh ok no biggie. She should have told me. And it was too late to stop the boss he went and ask her if she stole my work and she denied it. He told her I told him that. Guess it gave me a bad reputation for not having her back.
Yes, she recently got promoted as one of the assistant managers and blabbed to the GM about everything that happens on night shift.
I really don't get the point of this unless there is a serious issue. It just seems cowardly to me. If there's a problem- say it to their face.
I'm not impressed with people like this. They have no sense of dignity for themselves or others.

I once worked with somebody who loved to gossip, and spread it around. We all started playing head games with her. I started flirting around with a co-workers wife, and her husband would be flirting around with my wife. We'd make sure this person would see us together, and she just took it from there. We did that kind of stuff to her all the time.
There's a guy I work with who whinges about people doing work he wanted to do, even though it can be shared by anyone in the team. Then, the also whinges about having too much work to do. No-one likes this guy. Even our supervisor doesn't like him.
