In k-12 school I usually got a C. I would do very well on tests, but I often wouldn't complete homework and they would penalize my grades for that reason.
In college I did awesome. Out of around 40 courses for my teaching degree, I only performed poorly on one test for a diversity class and did well on all the rest. I also passed my state educators exams (CSET, RICA, CBEST) on the first attempt too. I am only the third person in the whole district where I work that has managed that out of over 450 teachers.
School actually seems a lot easier when I am older. The first month or two were a little challenging due to not being used to having to do school work and learn new stuff while also working a job, but after I was used to it, it became much easier than it had been when I was younger.

+1 yNot until highschool. Before 7th grade I was in learning disabilities classes, after I was tested I was placed in the advanced placement classes and was an A+ student.
I have degrees in engineering, computer science, and history.

+1 yI always got good grades in English, arts and every other subject except for math and history and I blame it on the damn teachers! I dont know WHAT IT IS but Math and history teachers always seemed to act like they had a stick up their ass with how they would talk to us students to help us learn the material. especially the math teachers haha. In college though it was a piece of cake all around in getting good grades. Way more relaxed atmosphere with professors.

+1 yYeaah uhm our school systems are pretty different but let's say during like middle school I had B's and high school C's but I stopped putting in effort the last 3 years of my school time... and during my 3years dual educational stuff to learn my job, I had C's and D's and only learned for the final exam and passed that shit with B's

My grades have always been A or A+. An A- used to bother me.
I am offended, and become extremely driven/competitive when I do not have the highest score in the class overall, or on any test. This tendency became worse as I aged, but more advanced college courses have removed this problem. At this point, I feel like it was a waste of emotion, and I no longer have this issue. My drive is towards my projects, and everything serves to bring me closer to my goals.

+1 yNot in the middle of the school year. Usually I would start off good and then I would lose interest. Next, my grades would fall and then I had to work twice the amount to catch back up. However, my last year before graduation, I caught up with everything and pulled my grades up to a B in all my classes except for one C. I was proud of myself for even doing that.
10 Reply807 opinions shared on Education & Career topic. Depends what moment, I was great until 12 years old, then the school from 12 to 16 I was only slightly ahead in most subjects, but excelled at a few. Then 16-20 at uni I was top of my class. I got lucky and found what I was good at and still do the same thing 6-7 years later as a senior developer.
10 ReplyI was a very average student, and would get a B score for most subjects and assignments. School just wasn't a very nice place to be for most of the time I was there, and I would learn more - much more - on my own at home.

+1 yYes. I had A’s, and maybe a couple of B’s in high school.

+1 yNo. I am exceptionally smart, but not easily motivated. So i tended to ignore my homework entirely but then ace my tests. As a result, i was probably the smartest ‘C’ student in my class. Ell oh ell!
10 Reply707 opinions shared on Education & Career topic. Yes. I found high school (grades 9-12) to be quite easy- boring in fact, so my grades were superior. College was more difficult, but I maintain high grades. I did the same in Grad school.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yMost of the time, I did. There are times, though, that I intentionally sabotaged my education. I guess I was simply rebelling then. Despite that, I can easily score high during exams.
