I’m finding it uncomfortable, 2 different people asked me today. Last November my managers manager asked me, I never speak to her if I can help it.
Why do people keep asking my how old I am at work?

What is wrong with someone knowing your age?
It’s rude to ask
I would never ask a man his height, weight or age. All are personal and may be offered but not requested.
I’m English, we have laws around age discrimination and employers have to be careful what they ask and imply.
We have laws against age, gender, and race discrimination here in the USA, but companies frequently discriminate against Whites, men, and against old women. Nothing happens to them for the discrimination because they can just make an excuse and it is almost always accepted.
It is even illegal to require someone to include their race on an application, but many companies make it a requirement. they post that it is optional, but the electronic system won't allow it to be submitted without including it.
You probably look a lot younger than you actually are, that's probably why
I'm 20 and people still think I look 15, apparently
If it’s a managers manager u better tell her… she’s in charge of ur damn company
She isn’t in charge of the company only the area I’m in, it’s illegal to ask someone’s age under employment laws or something to that effect
Yes but that wasn’t the case.

Younger people think you're too old
Older people think your young
How many of them are other women?
2/3 does this mean anything
Ok the managers manager is female, the other two are on my level, one female one male
The guy was asking a lot of people and joking about age with others, the other two were straight up asking me, no other discussion took place. Just hi, how old are you.
