Does anyone ever really work just one job? My mother is a surgeon, but she also has a part-time job cooking and cleaning. My father is an exec at an entertainment company, but he too has a part-time job doing cooking, cleaning, and general handyman functions. Also, until this time last year they were BOTH full-time parents! (And that is NOT an easy job). After I get my PhD in clinical Psychology, I may no longer be working for the rape crisis center, but I will certainly be working with them, likely still facilitating at least one group therapy session per week.

I think we all work more than just one job, we just tend not to think of it as a “job”. I mean, If you don’t think of housework as a job, you either live in one messy house, or you are psychotic and actually not think it’s fun!

My one job is expecting me to come over tomorrow night where the parking would be free and the one that is free is under a bridge, maybe 6 minutes away from where I need to go. 6 minutes to get raped/shanked or straight up killed. And work for 8 hours... so get $80. And that's it. :)

Since my maintanence payment for my apartment is very low, one job is enough. I also pay attention to make sure I turn off unnecessary lights and electronics when I'm at work. Don't know how much that helps but it's easy to unplug a few things. Instead of turning on the air conditioner I use my ceiling fan which uses little electricity.

Yes my current job is more than enough for me. I work 3 16 hour shifts a week and pull close to 100k. But before this one I’d have to work more than one job. It’s actually pretty liberating to just go to one job and focus on it.

It doesn't pay what i prefer but i’ll just quit and find something that does. Working more than one job at a time is a new form of slavery and that goes for any race. It ain't even worth it

I wanted to start my second job for fun, but wasn't able to due to covid.

Next year I'll be making that my main job as well as school.
