If a job ad says “starting from 100k plus super” what does that mean to you? How do you interpret that?

Sorry me further info as it’s important, as it could help with your interpretation. And this may explain why I’m confused and stuck in the meaning.

The job ad is looking for two to three people for the same role. But…

Although the three people will all perform the same role, duties etc. there are three different starting times, days. One is more a day role, one is more a evening role. They are all 4 days a week, same amount of hours.

One person will be a a more team leader, senior role, one will be a junior or to be trained up, the other an intermediate.

So considering all these things. What is your interpretation of this statement.

It’s not about the job, it’s about what that actual phrase means.

As in, does it mean I can ask for more than 100k because the salary range starts at 100k and goes up?

Or because there are numerous roles at different levels, times etc. that’s what the phrase means it’s only up to 100k not more than 100k. So someone more junior will get less than the 100k but the senior person will get 100k

It is about the Job and tasks as the phrases related directly to the job. YOu are going to get a lot of incorrect or no answers at all without some Job title or description.

My question is as I stated, is it 100K and above or 100K and below?

I need to work out what I go back to them and say I want in terms of salary when that is what the ad says in the title!

Depending what the statement means, I’m either going to ask for more than the 100k or ask for 100k even.

So I’m clearly just asking, if you read that statement what would you interpret it to mean!
