What college did you attend and would you recommend it?

I went to Western Governor's University. WGU.

I recommend it if you are self disciplined. It is online so it is up to you to make yourself actually do the work. Plus the tests that are required to pass each class must be 80% or higher. you can't get by with 70% like in most in person schools. And your homework means nothing. It all comes down to competency tests. Either you know the content and pass with 80% + or you don't now it and can't pass. There are teachers that will do online video meetings or calls with you if you want and there are student study groups you can join too if you need to. I personally did the stuff on my own. I only ever talked to 3 teachers the whole time through, and because at first I was given the impression that I was supposed to meet with each teacher when beginning a class, but after the school saw that I began and completed classes on my own with no assistance, they stopped asking me to meet the teachers.

The tuition cost is based on each semester, not on each unit, so if you manage to finish classes early, you can take more classes in that semester at no additional charge. I worked full time while going to college and paid my way through with no student loans.

It is pretty much a school for self motivated people that learn a lot of the required content.

Attended the West Cumberland College of Science & Technology (1year full time - 3 years day release) while doing a four year Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering in the UK, which no longer exists, the faculty moved to a new sites and to changed its name to West Lakes College and Energus.

I went to a small private college. It really was a good place to go to school. They really cared about the students and the faculty was always helpful. One of my kids also graduated from there.

I went to University for three years got a summer job & they offered me full time so I took it. Didn’t like my school or my major. I wouldn’t recommend it either
