Are velour button up shirts professional enough for work, or are they too casual/fancy?

I guess it depends on your occupation, I think you'd wear it on a casual Friday. If the company is business casual, you could wear it I'm sure
Thanks for the MHG
Yeah. Wow I love that shirt in the photo

As long as you're not working at a law firm or some place similar, it looks just fine.
If I was wearing it, I might go with a pair of slacks or a skirt that provided some contrast to the top !!!
I don't know that I can answer this because, if you were working for me, as far as I'm concerned, you can come to work naked!! I'm not hiring you for your wardrobe, I'm hiring you for your ability to do the job well. As long as you don't smell bad and get on well with the others you have to work with.
Velour? Those are so 80's. I didn't even know they still made them.
I think it's fine. I could see some very conservative law firms or insurance offices perhaps giving a second glance but, really, it's fine. I'd make sure to pair it with subdued trousers or a skirt.
For normal office work, that's fine. Maybe even as a salesperson in a clothing store.
Yes, it looks good to wear at a professional for a work.
If they are lowwww cut with spaghetti straps , you can work for me in one, lol
Seriously I think they would be fine.
depends on the occupation and the work environment.
I just don't like them for any occasion. And honestly you know you can do better
I'd recommend you not wear that to work
If it's compatible, no problem ;)
I think it would be fine to wear for work.
i love them at work
I'd say it's just right
I don’t see why not.
What you have pictured looks too casual.
