How good is your enunciation?

We lazy, ignorant US citizens tend to mispronounce words quite often (off-ten, or offin?). Ell oh ell!
Do you say ‘buTTer’, or ‘budder’?
Don’T, or don’?
The apostrophe represents a glottal stop in that case. Glottal stops are recognized lingual expressions in some languages. We use them in English, but it’s widely considered lazy and ignorant.
Can a stranger tell the difference between ‘bitter’ and ‘bidder’ when YOU are speaking? Do they require context, or do you enunciate?
