It’s easier to exude and convey that energy than with a higher pitched voice.


It’s also easier to intimate with a lower voice versus a high pitch voice.


That’s not to say someone with a higher voice can’t convey gravitas—it’s just more difficult.


But at the end of the day, it’s all about energy.


You can command respect with your energy and with how your energy affects the atmosphere of the interactions you have.

I don't know if it commands respect. But my husband has a smooth, deep voice and he certainly gets more attention for it.
