A good trade school beats a lame "liberal arts" (sic) school nowadays.

Now the NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) bum people are a mess and need a good swift kick in their rears, but before we get too worried about not enough mean getting college degrees, ask those women going what their actual degrees are.

No college isn't needed for society to work. Men has always lead the way, if we make it without college than we prove how little it's required and females will follow.

It is not the numbers. It may develop into a crisis because public schools and colleges are a hostile environment to boys and young men. However, that is just one of many things that may result in a crisis such as the attacks on marriage, the favoritism given to blacks and women over white men.

This is definitely a crisis in the making. The sad things is that if the tables were turned and it was women who were not attending college, society would be falling over itself trying to address the problem, throwing billions of dollars at finding the reasons behind it and encouraging males to go to college. But we see no such acknowledgment and effort today for men.

@joeldalton Sure, the trades are great. We need more guys going into them, and they should be more respected. I think that's starting to change, partly because of Mike Rowe's efforts, but mostly because there are not enough guys going into them and that's a crisis of another kind.
