You gonna stick it out or just say fk this job (story down below)?

got a new job, thought it would be great. Got there... made me do all this shi, and did the math. I got to pay my car insurance-$90, phone bill-$40 aaand then i gotta eat. Anyways, the point is it's a bi-weekly check and after all the work and calculating... the check would come too late and it wouldn't even be enough to help me pay rent. Of course my mom disagrees with this saying that little check would be worth it but whatever, the deed is done... and I'm not busting my back to satisfy some white bitch who wants her seat, trashcan and inbetween her toes spotless.

So in this situation with a new job, what would be your plan? it might help me next time I find myself in a situation... Although with this trip, I know what I need to survive on my own.

Your mom is right. A small check is better than no check. A bird in the hand is the best thing until something better comes along. Keep looking. Don't burn bridges. Don't have an attitude. Get a good reference. And keep looking.

Try to never put yourself in a situation where you NEED a job right now. That puts you in a bad bargaining position. It puts you in a position that you have to take whatever is offered, even if it sucks. That's how people end up with shitty jobs. If you quit your job, it just makes you more desperate, which is not where you want to be.

When something better comes along, quit your job. Suck it up and try to be polite when you leave. But leave it behind for something better.

Then do it again. Never stop looking for something better.

welll i would keep said deal... if I didn't have a backup. And you know, i guess i did know the math but was HOPING it wouldn't be biweekly and take forever. :c
