I am working in a digital marketing company and now i am at 30 i am not getting enough salary but i am trying to get more. I feel insecurities that if i get 45 that time do i perform the same the way i am doing now... may be no that how i listen from others tech people...
The tech industry doesn't perform the nessasary strikes they need to, in order to be a force in the world.. Tech should be the baddest toughest smartest people out there right now fighting the government day in and day out.. Cyber security is no joke. They should be litterallly speaking on any and all issues..
From wrongful or illegal marketing to freedom of speech, to proper allowance of freedom of information, proper news, regulations on all platforms, honor and wrong doings, protection of children, constant debate on whether adults should be allowed archaic fun freedoms or if we are far to advanced to let such things continue anymore."
The simple fact that tech guys didn't speak on legality issues such as marijuana tobacco and alcohol as well as caffeine has made it very hard. Probably pretty hard to have a decent life if your brain is fried & your trying to engineer computer software and engineer literal computers. Not to mention if you want to do anything other then that...
At this point having internet in the home should be a huge debate with the amount of freedoms Americans and Canadians possess the amount of damage we can do without even stepping out the door...
& The government fradulences as well.
not a good time to be alive if your not ready to fuxking givr day in and day out... Russia is actually more successful then us in my opinion cause they have strict guidelines even on alcohol, purchase only available throughout half the day any one that lives amoungst an alcoholic knows how expensive it is and how life longing a disease it of course is.12 Reply- +1 y
You should be able to make a lot of money in tech you have all the insider knowledge you have to think outside the box however and learn business tricks and of course be ready for the inevitable to one day have a wife and children and be ready to be the mother & father your parents were but also the mother & father your parents weren't.
People think that were in the future life has gotten easier... No... Just as hard.. just more potential... But there's definitely litterallly impossible. potentials. - +1 y

I did when I was younger, but, I am doing pretty good these days. I worked hard to get where I am though. I still work 6 days a week, but I take time to enjoy things periodically. It is nothing to work 70 to 80 hours a week as I don't like to sit still too long.

I think most people do. I'm self employed, and financials have been a struggle so far many times.
Because I'm not great in a "corporate sense" around here, I wonder if I'd really be CAPABLE of working for someone else at this point. I also admit I like being self employed, I think it's a more natural fit for my life. The problem is, I NEED paying customers and clients - usually new ones, and this has been the toughest hurdle in my career. People over all like me, and I'm good at my job, but that doesn't translate to steady paid work. Therefore, a lot of worry about financials.
And if my life is going to be a struggle financially, are things going to get any easier in other areas? I guess that's always the question...10 Reply - +1 y
Hell yeah. I'm an electronics engineer, who tried to branch out into programming and IT. Now, I'm looking for a new job in the industry. The 3 serious interviews I had, I "failed" them spectacularly. The companies are demanding that I have experience in expensive tools: which I didn't have the chance to experience at my previous companies.
It looks like the industry is adopting a "stencil" on the candidates; They are not willing to look at an unorthodox engineer with 20 years of experience in various things.

I am already seeing AI in both my Businesses, office, and accounting platforms. The margins, with less bodies and medical etc Costs will be much better.

I was considering retiring and was pretty confident I had enough resources to not work again for the rest of my life. Then Biden got in the White House and everything suddenly costs twice as much. I worried that in the next two years it could double again so I found a new job.

what do you work
I have a bachelor in Marketing and I can tell you that this is thee field that I can never feel secure in. If the numbers go down you go down, you have to be creative all the time but it’s fun, fast and you can make good money that’s why you need to save for a rainy day as with any job marketing is just more competitive.

I do but I’ve also accepted that this is how it is in this day and age.
I also don’t aspire to be crazy rich or anything. I want to be comfortable but I want a live a humble decent life.11 Reply- +1 y

I have money insecurities too. I just live with it and try to be happy and be thankful for the things I have even the bed I sleep on.
10 Reply I'm only insecure about my level of personal fitness, but I'm working on that.

Not so much anymore. I wouldn't say I'm set for life. But I amassed enough I shouldn't have to work again. But, we'll see. Life doesn't come with guarantees.

Also, gain enough knowledge and then start your own. Even as a consultant you'd likely make double what you make now. I started my own company at 19, and now I make far more than if I had pursued my degree. Being an employee is rarely a rout to real financial security.
No, i dont.
