My application status went to in progress today after one month of evaluation. Do you think it means something specific?

I applied almost 1 month ago. Normally, it is a rapid company and I interviewed for this position 7 months ago. I actually had no expectations because of my previous unsuccessful interview, however, my application status went from received to hr review to in progress. Last time, when it changed to in progress they reached me for the interview. Do you think it can be an important clue for me in terms of the recruiting process?

Yeah, your Application has progressed to their Interview List. It matters not when you apply for a position. And, you have applied and been interviewed before which is in your best interest.-They have a history that you really want to be there to work and their computer systems detect this.

How did you interview seven months ago, then didn't apply until a month ago? That's pretty weird.

I applied and interviewed for the same position 7 months ago.1 month ago they opened the same position again and applied for the same position for the second time.

Got it. 'in progress' could mean anything from in background check, pending management approval, etc. Hopefully you will get an offer!
