It could be. You need to read as well as respond but it would help other English studies you have. Remember though that everything on GaG is conversational and idiomatic.

Sure. One of my favourite idioms is “Break a leg”. It means “Good luck” because when people went on stage, they believed that if you say something like that, it will give you luck and you will not break your leg. It is a little bit like opposites. :)

wow, this is enjoy. I am a Turk and there is a idiom in Turkish like that "to break devil's leg" 😅 they almost come same meaning look at the coincidence Lol
