Is it weird I’m mad they copied me?

I go to an Ivy League college for grad school and one of my cousins that I barely know is applying and apparently got accepted. They posted they got in without showing the acceptance letter. I’m mad because I feel copied and like they are trying to one up me. Is it wrong I feel this way?

I think the question is are they going to graduate? Bc yeah getting accepted is awesome but can they make it through. Do you have a strenuous relationship with this person?

How does it impact you that they applied to the same school? If they did copy you, then its a sign that the respect your decision on the college

Going to college, even a prestigious school doesn't make you unique - a lot of people do that. Its great, but you need to find more ways to be unique.

I'm not trying to minimize the achievement of getting into a high end school, but its just the first step on a very long road.
