What keeps you motivated while you work or study?

I was the worst of students... lol, so I actually never studied much

work however... my biggest motivation has been the sense of belonging, and the responsibility acquired with it... mostly family and friends, my partners

so, stability... definitely a good foundation to start developing and going after all those other things one would want to pursue in life, I'm a business owner too... so that, requires a healthy balance of responsibility with a good mix of not taking things too seriously (greed and anxiety could quickly take over, lol)

What motivates me when studying is knowing that my efforts "should" be rewarded with future understanding to allow me to advance even further.

Any incidental benefits are the "cherry" on top.

Something I do is to remember a time I was disappointed in myself because of a grade I received. When I recall that feeling it helps because I don’t ever want to feel that again. It’s such a horrible feeling that just pops up deep in your stomach. It’s as if you could have done better but you didn’t.

Lately I try to be appreciative that my line of work isn't nearly as stressful as some aspects of it can be in the worst types of 'bad days' like, I guess it's like how there's easy days and there's challenging days. I enjoy the easy days the best, but I feel bad for those who endure the challenging days. I stay motivated by reminding myself, today's workload wasn't nearly as bad or as scary as it could be, 😁
