was the book "catcher in the rye" taught in literature class MAINLY because people protested its profanity "helluva" inexcusable in old days, or can you find a quality part worthy of analysis in the book "catcher in the rye"

similarly the book "to kill a mocking bird" is EXTREMELY difficult to read, because the author wrote the "sounds spoken by uneducated speakers." like "helpful addition to English vocabulary" sarcasm. i suspect the conservatives protested these two books, therefore dumb dnc "pushed back" praising these "classics" despite no quality only to be defiant.

yay i found it! the reason schools pushed it despite bad quality is, "He felt like praying, but his disgust for organized religion prevented him" put THAT in all students heads. #education
