Is getting an associates degree in animal science a good choice if I wanna work with animals but im unsure what specific career I want to pursue?

i dont want to be involved in animal agriculture but more so in animal hospitals, clinics, and helping pets and their owners. i have been unsure of what i wanna do for so long but at this point this seems like the best choice i could go for.

i think for level entry jobs there are a lot of options, but for what i actually want my career to be, i have no idea. so i dont know if im gonna regret this.

No, you'd be better off being more specific as it's a competitive market and relatively low paid. Identify what you want to do not just help animals or you'll just end up shoveling shit in a kennel.
Consider doing a vet nurse course if you want hands on work

I think animal science is a great degree to hold and many opportunities will present to you.

probably work at a genetic lab that pays enough to compensate for that degree
