It can be a place to start—but it’s not a place to end if you want to be ultra-wealthy.
If you want to make six-figures, a 9-5 can do that for you, at the right company, with the right occupation.
If you want to get into the millions, then you’re looking at being either become a business owner or an investor.
But, it’s not a bad idea to work at a business to gain wisdom and experience to help you run a business of your own later down the road.
In fact, many entrepreneurs worked for other people to gain valuable experience before branching off to launch their own ventures.
It depends if you have a chill job that gives you a surplus wealth and satisfaction. If you're stressing and are miserable at your job just to make the surplus wealth then your life sucks even though you have the money.
If you're stressed out of your mind running a business and don't enjoy your life sucks still.
If you're an x-ray tech chilling after work playing video games and enjoying life with a surplus wealth then you're rich. Think about someone living in slavery compared to the x ray tech. Not saying there will be 0 stress. Just as long as you're losing your mind over the job
No money will increase your unhappiness but just enough money will make you happy and be able to live a rich life.

No, the best 9-5 are maybe 6 figures
I suppose if you are a frugal person and invest heavily then you might push up into 8 figures by retirement age
Everyone I know who either eclipses that figure or is well on track to do so didn't/doesn't work 9-5
yeah but those jobs take away almost half of your salary to go to taxes
45% personal here so most register a company with themselves as director and get paid that was so only pay 30%, tax loopholes are another wealth builder
100k a year on 45% tax is 55k take home if you can live on 30k that leaves 25k a year so 40 years of that invested compound maybe makes 5% a year first year that's 1250 but last year the lump would bring 50k plus the other compounded balances
On 30% tax that'd be 70k take home, 40k to invest, same time so first is 2k but last lump is 80k
Of course! That’s why every Walmart worker drives a Ferrari.
